Thoughts on disappearing with a view to the future

Castel_Belasi_mostra_Come_ghiaccio_2025_

In the International Year of Glaciers’ Preservation, an exhibition with works by international and Italian artists to reflect on the concept of fragility and disappearance, between preservation, rebellion and spirituality in an era in which convictions and certainties are dissolving like snow in the sun.

Projections, video installations, monuments and sculptural works, photo collages, sound works, red-tinted ice and shamanic dances stimulate thought about the speed of the current climate change, its power and the need to act now in order to limit its dramatic consequences.

The exhibition is part of a trilogy inspired by the Dolomites and dedicated to water, which includes “Come pioggia (Like rain)” (2023) and “Come isole (Like islands)” (2024).
